Fun Fact
Did You Know? The Origins of "Cromulent" Education
The word "cromulent" was first used in educational contexts right here in Springfield!
Originally coined by our founder's great-aunt Jebediah Springfield in 1796, "cromulent"
described educational methods that were both valid and enlarging to the mind.
The term was rediscovered by Dr. Simpson while researching historical educational documents.
"When I found references to 'cromulent education' in those old texts," Dr. Simpson recalls,
"I knew we had discovered something special."
